“Austria’s new energy and climate targets for 2030 and how to achieve them”
This year’s European Engine Power Plant Forum will focus on the Austrian target of providing 100% electricity from renewables by 2030. Austrian government representatives will brief the audience on the very recently published energy and climate plan “#mission2030” and explain, how they want to achieve their ambitious target.
In a panel discussion politicians, utilities and solution providers will discuss, how to ensure a stable decarbonised electricity and heat supply in Austria in 2030. They will look at the possible contribution of engine power plants to achieving the policy targets and discuss options to increase the share of renewable gases as fuel for engine power plants.
The event is jointly organised by EUGINE, the European association representing the manufacturers of engine power plants in Europe – www.eugine.eu, and CIMAC, the international council on combustion engines – www.cimac.com.
